Telegraph String Quartet - Monday September 15, 2025
Winners of numerous prestigious competitions and festivals throughout the world, Telegraph is the ensemble which will open our program seasons yearly henceforth. From their vast repertoire, they are able to present our Rossmoor audience with a varied program of both new and older literature.
Lee Trio - Monday October 20, 2025
The Lee Trio is an award-winning piano trio made up of three virtuosic performers, educators, and sisters from San Francisco. Since its critically acclaimed Wigmore Hall debut in 2002, the Lee Trio's "gripping immediacy and freshness" [The Strad] has establishing itself as one of the premier chamber ensembles on the international stage.
Jeffrey LaDeur and Friends - Monday November 17, 2025
Pianist Jeffrey LaDeur and Friends - featuring mezzo-soprano Kindra Scharich - present a captivating program of witty and sensuous French works. Renowned for his unique blend of insight, spontaneity, and warm, communicative presence on stage, LaDeur has been praised by Clic Musique Magazine (France) for his "irreproachable legato, beautiful palette of nuances, and consistently well-balanced sound." Joined by a group of acclaimed collaborators, LaDeur offers an evening of unforgettable solos and duos.
ZOFO Piano Duo - Monday February 16, 2026
Since joining forces as a professional duo in 2009, internationally acclaimed solo pianists Eva-Maria Zimmerman and Keisuke Nakagoshi have electrified audiences from Carnegie Hall to Tokyo, Japan with their dazzling artistry and outside-the-box thematic programming for piano-four-hands. This GRAMMY-nominated, prize-winning Steinway Artist Ensemble is one of only a handful of duos worldwide devoted exclusively to piano duets.
El Mundo - Monday March 16, 2026
Grammy Award-nominated early music ensemble, El Mundo, is a chamber group dedicated to the performance of sixteenth through nineteenth century Latin American, Spanish, and Italian chamber music. Made up of some of the finest period instrument performers, El Mundo combines bowed strings with the rarely heard accompaniment forces of mixed guitars, lutes and percussion in a setting that recreates the distinctive Latin sound of the old and new world. This historically and geographically distinctive music, called a "perfect balance of sacred and profane" (The Guardian), remains as vital and full of life as ever.
Chamber Music: The Next Generation - Monday April 20, 2026
This will be the fifth season that RCMS is presenting this ever-popular program featuring local high school and college students. Next Generation players have come from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, the Young Chamber Musicians program, and the Junior Bach Festival.
Jonathan Bailey will present
a pre-concert introduction for each performance
starting at 6:30pm
